This amazing ship, along with her sister ship, Viking Polaris, had her maiden voyage in 2022. It was specially designed to sail the turbulent Southern Ocean, said to be the most treacherous water on Earth. It has state-of-the-art everything.
Viking passengers can explore the area using zodiacs, kayaks, boats called “special operations boats”, and even two yellow submarines. Marvene and I skipped the kayaks and submarines.
