These small wooden sailboats, dating back to ancient Egypt, are the traditional travel vessels used for navigating up and down the Nile River. This shot was taken close to the Aswan Dam, which captures water from the Nile into the world’s third largest reservoir, Lake Nasser. We were in southern Egypt, north of Sudan.
