Shortly after leaving Creede, Colorado, the highway begins ascending up the pass toward Lake City. The first waterfall on the right is South Clear Creek Falls, and the next one is North Clear Creek Falls. After spending an hour or so photographing North Clear Creek Falls, we doubled back to take a look at this one. It was a sunny day, so we concentrated on the lower portion of the falls, avoiding the sunlight above. This perspective gives the viewer a closer look at the water smoothly cascading over the rocks.
