The impressionist painter, Claude Monet, lived in Giverny, France about 50 miles west of Paris. He created this beautiful lily pond, called Namonaki Ike, better known as Monet’s Pond. It was the source of many of his paintings, including his famous Water Lilies series. The lush vegetation around the pond requires constant maintenance to keep it clear of debris.
