A person fly fishing in a river surrounded by vibrant autumn foliage and golden trees along the riverbank.

Photographers sometimes have scenes in mind that they would like to capture. One of the compositions I had been looking for was a fly fisherman with his line circling in the air, like one of Robert Redford’s famous scenes in the movie, A River Runs Through It. I got that opportunity in Masonic Park when this man was casting his neon-colored line at the north bend of the river down from Lewis Lane.
