On a tour of Eastern Europe, we found so many buildings that had been neglected while under Communist rule of the Soviet Union. Renovation on this part of the church had just been completed when we toured it in 2019. The church is called Church of Saint Sava in Belgrade, Serbia. It is the second largest Eastern Orthodox Christian church in the world. It was gratifying to see this beautiful structure being brought back to its original glory.
