Several years ago, Marvene and I took a three-week Viking Cruise from St. Petersburg to Moscow. The cruise was called Waterway of the Czars. This route was where Viking got its start as an international cruise line.
In Moscow, our group was privileged to have a private tour inside the Kremlin. That night, I arranged for transportation for another photographer and me back to Red Square, hoping to get a night shot of St. Basil’s Cathedral. We were there until after midnight photographing various buildings and people in this famous location.
This was a fabulous trip. I am thankful that Marvene and I got to travel to Russia while it was still a safe country to visit.
