It was crowded and raining the day we visited The Vigeland Park in Oslo, Norway. Our Viking bus group was one of several bringing passengers to tour this iconic park. The rain and crowds greatly reduced my chances of getting a classic photograph in that iconic location.
Years ago, a NatGeo photographer named Nevada Wier told me to always look for a lady in red to photograph. I didn’t see any ladies in red dresses, but the red umbrellas provided a perfect enhancement to an otherwise drab scene. Marvene walked away from the crowd for a minute to study this sculpture and provided a classic shot.
