A dramatic oak tree alley with Spanish moss hanging from branches creates a tunnel effect in black and white.

I had seen pictures of this iconic Louisiana Plantation many times but was not sure where it was located. My buddy, Andy Crawford, invited me to his house for photography lessons and a boat ride in the swamps, where he takes his fantastic photographs. While I was in his studio, I saw his shot of Oak Alley Plantation. He said it was close to his house, and he agreed to take me by and try to get some pictures. He knows the owners personally, so we were able to walk through the gate and set up right on the sidewalk. It was early morning, and the fall fog was still hanging in the air. I am grateful to Andy that I got this shot before there was some hurricane damage to the trees a few years later. I printed this photo and have it hanging in my office at home.
